Margereth Björklund är pensionerad sedan år 2021 och har arbetat på avdelningen för omvårdnad på Hälsohögskolan, Jönköping University, Sverige. Margereths forskningsintresse handlar om folkhälsa, onkologi, omvårdnad och vårdvetenskap. Huvudintresset betonar salutogenes, och positiv psykologi och handlar om personer med huvud och halscancerdiagnos och deras beskrivningar av hälsofrämjande och egen makt kopplat till hälsa och lycka trots förändrad vardag. Margereths senaste projekt är positiv psykologi med ett salutogent perspektiv och intresse för Flow-teorin. Aktuell forskning i detta ämne är redovisat i vetenskaplig tidskrift år 2019.

Ytterligare forskningsintresse handlar om interprofessionellt samarbete mellan vårdpersonal och andra yrkesprofessioner, i förbindelse med ett medicinskt fartyg i Papua Nya Guinea. Margereth är medförfattare till en vetenskaplig artikel som är redovisat i vetenskaplig tidskrift år 2021.

Det nyaste forskningsintresse handlar om distriktsköterskans arbete med avancerad medicinsk teknik i hemsjukvård. Margereth är medförfattare till en vetenskaplig artikel som är redovisat i en vetenskaplig tidskrift år 2022.

Margereth Björklund, retired since 2021, previously worked at the Department of Nursing Science at Jönköping University, Sweden. She does research in Public Health, Oncology and Nursing Science. Her research interest is primarily about people with a diagnosis of head and neck cancer and their views on health promotion and empowerment linked to health, happiness despite changed everyday life. New research interest is interprofessional collaboration with healthcare professionals and other staff in connection with a medical ship in Papa New Guinea. Margereth is co-author of a scientific article, is reported in a scientific journal in 2021.

The newest research interest is district nurses’ experiences of using advanced medical technology in home care. Margereth is co-author of a scientific article that is reported in a scientific journal in 2022.
